Deanna Nealey is a retired middle school teacher, who taught many years in Penfield, NY. When she and her husband, Richard, moved to Plymouth, MA, she was fascinated by the Genghis Swan story that was happening close to her home in The Pinehills. Every time she drove past the pond on the Eel River, where Genghis lived, she looked for him and was eager to tell his story to visitors. She is happy that now Genghis has his own book to be read and enjoyed by her grandchildren and other children.
