About the author:
Elaine Kiklis has always enjoyed sharing the joy of story telling with her three children and seven grandchildren. She had learned while studying to become a nurse just how important principles of kindness and love are. Elaine has incorporated these life learned principles in her writings for children as well as her personal life. She lives in Scituate and Cape Cod where some of her best ideas are found on a quiet walk by the sea.
About the illustrator:
Abby Sullivan is a senior at Scituate High School and has been drawing her entire life. Storytelling through images comes much more naturally than writing, so illustration was a logical path for her to follow. She grew up around art through her father and other family, and she plans on pursuing it as a full-time career after college.
