Please join us for our final Writers' Work of the season! And we are thrilled to have Tara L. Masih as our guest speaker!!!

Tara L. Masih, a writer, editor, and part-time instructor and judge, will discuss the do's and don'ts in the publishing business of submitting to ...journals, contests, publishers, and agents. Often beginners will turn off an editor or agent in their opening lines or commit what amounts to a "cardinal sin of submission." Come find out what to avoid and what to strive for to make someone take note of your work. Masih has worked and published in many genres (fiction, poetry, nonfiction) so come armed with questions about any aspect of publishing. The goal is to have you leave this session ready to submit your work over the summer, and hopefully report the successes in the fall!

So come have a yummy meal, a fantastic guest, a q&a, a brag period, and a time to buy books. We'll also have Westwinds Bookshop of Duxbury joining us to sell Tara's books.
